In 2019, a survey conducted by the Surrey Police and Crime Commissioner and Surrey Youth Focus found that nearly 1 in 5 young people in the county were most concerned about violent crime.

Fearless is Crime Stopper’s youth service, that engages with young people on the consequences of their choices around crime.  Fearless.org offers non-judgemental advice to help inform decisions about reporting crime.

The Office of the PCC funds a dedicated Fearless outreach worker in Surrey, whose aim is to encourage younger people to report crime 100% anonymously using the Crimestoppers website, and to speak up about issues such as knife and drug crime.
