Child Criminal Exploitation

Child Criminal Exploitation2021-08-12T14:54:11+01:00

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey, supported by statutory agencies, is looking to grant fund a dedicated service which supports young people who are experiencing or at serious risk of criminal exploitation.

Despite Surrey being a safe county in comparison to neighbouring areas, not all children and young people feel safe and some are at risk of being drawn into crime through exploitation and abuse.

We have recognised that we have a gap in our ability to support these young people.

Through working with our partners and young people, we have developed an ambitious service specification, and are seeking a partner to deliver it with our support over the next three years.

Applications can be submitted via our online portal  until 11pm on Friday 17th September 2021.

Assessment will take place after all applications have been received. We aim to update on the status of their applications as soon as possible after this. Interviews are currently scheduled to take place in the week commencing  30th September 2021.
