Police and Crime Plan for Surrey (2025 – 2028)
One of the key responsibilities of your Commissioner is to set the Police and Crime Plan, which outlines the areas that Surrey Police will focus on.
The Police and Crime Commissioner, Lisa Townsend, is now asking the public to have their say on this essential blueprint for policing over the next three years.
The new Plan, which will cover 2025-28, will outline the key areas of performance that will be monitored by Lisa and her team, and provide the basis of office funding for services that reduce crime and support victims.
It is based on your views, as well as those of stakeholders working closely alongside the Commissioner and her team.
The priorities identified in the current plan, which covers the period between 2021 and 2025, are:
- Preventing violence against women and girls
- Protecting people from harm in Surrey
- Working with communities so they feel safe
- Strengthening relationships between Surrey Police and Surrey residents
- Ensuring safer Surrey roads
Throughout the Plan there is a focus on improving partnership work to reduce harm and increasing engagement with children and young people in Surrey.

The consultation will close on December 12 2024.
