Executive Summary:
For 2025/26 the Police and Crime Commissioner has made available £383,000 for the Community Safety Fund to ensure continued support to local community, voluntary and faith organisations.
Application to the Community Safety Fund – Small Grant
Surrey Police/SOC Partnership Board – Winter Nights
To award Surrey Police £1,600 to run the Winter Nights Burglary Initiative that is designed to foster safer, more resilient communities by empowering residents to take an active role in crime prevention during a seasonally high-risk period. Funding will support the partnership buy security packs and communication take aways.
Recommendation
The Commissioner supports the applications to the Community Safety Fund and awards the following;
- £1,600 to Surrey Police on behalf of the SOC Partnership for the Winter Nights campaign;
