38/2025-26 PCC Strategic Commissioning Fund

The MOJ identified an underspend from other projects for this financial year 2025/26. The MOJ have created a Strategic Commissioning Fund where PCC’s can proactively repurpose the underspend for victims’ priorities. The aims of the fund are to strengthen OPCC victims services commissioning and / or improve capacity/resilience within their commissioned victim support service. 

Applications for the Grant:  

YMCA Downslink 

To award YMCA Downslink ÂŁ7017 towards enhancing Digital Safety Education through Technology-Enabled Group Work. 

Victim & Witness Care Unit 

To award the Victim & Witness Care Unit ÂŁ7580 towards Smartphones for Caseworkers. 

Surrey & Borders Partnership (SABP) 

To award the Surrey and Borders Partnership’s Sexual Trauma and Recovery Service (STARS) ÂŁ800 towards Staff CISVA Wellbeing. 

Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (RASASC) 

To award the Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (RASASC) ÂŁ7050 towards Clinical Supervision and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Training. 

Surrey Domestic Abuse Partnership (SDAP) 

To award the Surrey Domestic Abuse Partnership (SDAP) ÂŁ8,200 towards Training and IT equipment. 

Surrey Minority Ethnic Forum (SMEF) 

To award SMEF ÂŁ8,300 towards Insights – Minoritised Women and Girls. 

The PCC supports the recommended allocation of the PCC Strategic Commissioning Fund in Surrey and awards the following;  

  • ÂŁ7,017.00 to YMCA Downslink towards IT equipment. 
  • ÂŁ7,580.00 to VWCU towards Smartphones for Caseworkers. 
  • ÂŁ800.00 to Surrey & Borders Partnership towards Staff CISVA Wellbeing. 
  • ÂŁ7,050.00 to RASASC towards Clinical Supervision and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Training. 
  • ÂŁ8,200.00 to SDAP towards Training and IT equipment. 
  • ÂŁ8,300.00 to SMEF towards Insights – Minoritised Women and Girls.
