Executive Summary:
For 2026/27 the Police and Crime Commissioner has made available £383,000 for the Community Safety Fund to ensure continued support to local community, voluntary and faith organisations.
Application to the Community Safety Fund
Surrey Serious & Organised Crime Partnership Board – Operation Mechanize Community Intelligence and Awareness Events
To award Surrey Serious & Organised Crime Partnership Board £1,850 towards Trading Standards search dogs and campaign materials for three engagement events as part of Operation Mechanize in August 2026. The events aim to empower members of the public to recognise warning signs of criminality such as exploitation and encourage them to report concerns to Crimestoppers and Trading Standards.
Recommendation
The Commissioner supports the applications to the Community Safety Fund and awards to the following;
- £1,850 towards Trading Standards search dogs and campaign materials.
