The Bean Van – 1925

Sepia image of the first police vehicle purchaed by Surrey Police in 1925 called the Bean Van.  The vehicle is the side view and black in colour

Ford Zephyrs – 1960

Black and white image of five Ford Zephyrs parked outside the Old House at Mount Browne.  Each vehicle is dark in colour and has a blue siren light on its roof.  There are three officers in uniform standing in front of the cars.  One gentleman is shaking hands with another police officer.

Ford Cortinas – 1966

Black and white image of 7 white Ford Cortinas with the Police branding down the side of each vehicle and blue siren light on top.  The cars are lined up parked in front of the Old House at Mount Browne Headquarters in Guildford.  There is a police officer in uniform standing by the each of the cars and a couple of plain clothed gentlemen with two other officers in the centre of the image looking to camera.

Honda motorcycles – 1970

Black and white image of 6 white Police Honda motorcycles with Police branding on from 1970.  The motorcycles are in convoy one behind another outside Mount Browne Old House in Guildford.  Each motorcycle has a police officer in uniform riding it with white helmet and goggles.

First major incident vehicle – 1970

Ford Granadas – 1977
