The Surrey Homes Scheme (SHS) was designed to assist access to affordable housing for serving Police Officers and PCSO’s of Surrey Police. It was initiated in 2003 as part of a retention package and was closed to new applicants in 2011. Decisions relating to the scheme and other housing support requested were previously made by the Surrey Police Authority’s Surrey Homes Board.
