Application to the PCC’s Fund
YMCA Downsview – SOLaH Programme
To award YMCA Downsview with funding to establish project SOLaH (Safety Online at Home) in Surrey. SOLaH is a structured, evidence-informed, child-centred programme designed to equip children and young people with the knowledge, skills, and resilience required to safely navigate the digital environment. The programme recognises that online spaces are an integral part of young people’s lives, while also presenting increasingly complex and evolving risks. Children and young people are digital natives and often have greater familiarity with online platforms than the adults supporting them. Funding has been awarded to mobilise the service in Surrey and then towards the core costs.
