Police and Crime Commissioners have the statutory responsibility to provide services to support victims to cope and recover.

What is Sexual Exploitation (WiSE) Project Workers deliver targeted interventions to children and young people who are victims of sexual exploitation (or are considered at significant risk). WiSE workers will provide dedicated emotional support and practical help to better equip the children and young people to identify and exit coercive and exploitive relationships.

To award YMCA Downslink Group £127,000 for the delivery of the Child Sexual Exploitation WiSE Worker Project. 

The PCC supports the recommendation and awards YMCA Downlink Group £127,000 in 2024/25 from the Victims Fund.
