The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner is a separate entity to Surrey Police, and does not have the authority to get involved with operational Police matters or criminal investigations.

If you would like to report a crime or contact Surrey Police with an enquiry or complaint, please call 101, the non-emergency police number, or visit the Surrey Police website.

In line with the evolving response to COVID-19 (coronavirus), all staff within the Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner for Surrey are working from home, and may have limited access to some systems. Please note that it may  take longer than usual to respond to your enquiry.

During this extraordinary time, we appreciate your patience and would like to reassure you that correspondence by email and answerphone will continue to be received and responded as soon as possible.

To ensure we are able to deal with your enquiry as efficiently as possible – please include the following in any correspondence:

  • Your name
  • Your email address and/or telephone number
  • Subject matter
  • Whether you are happy to be contacted in the future with information about the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner

Depending on the nature of your enquiry – it would also be useful to indicate whether you give your permission for the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner to pass on your details to the relevant department within Surrey Police if appropriate.
