Council tax leaflet 2026/27

5th February 2026

For the financial year April 1 2026 to March 31 2027, the precept has been set at £352.57 for a Band D property. This is equivalent to a 4.4 per cent rise across all council tax bands.

Read our council tax leaflet 2026/27 for more information on how your tax helps to fund Surrey Police:

The image shows the front cover of the 2026/2027 council tax leaflet. On the front is an officer in uniform, who is patrolling along a street. He is looking off to his right. The text around the image reads: "Policing Surrey 2026/27: How your council tax helps fund Surrey Police."
