Politi- og kriminalkommissæren for Surrey er ansvarlig for å sette i gang tjenester som støtter ofre for kriminalitet, forbedrer samfunnssikkerheten, takler utnyttelse av barn og forhindrer gjentatt lovbrudd. Vi driver en rekke ulike finansieringsstrømmer og inviterer jevnlig organisasjoner til å søke om tilskuddsmidler for å støtte de ovennevnte målene.
For regnskapsåret 2021/22 brukte politi- og kriminalkommissæren en andel av lokalt avledet finansiering til å støtte levering av lokale tjenester. Totalt ble ytterligere midler på £650,000 XNUMX gjort tilgjengelig for dette formålet, og denne artikkelen angir bevilgninger fra dette budsjettet.

2.1 Tjeneste: Transition Fund

Sammendrag: When families arrive at a domestic abuse refuge they have few or no possessions, having left their homes when the opportunity to escape arises. This funding enables the refuge to provide essential items for the families when they arrive. These items can be taken with the families when they resettle, providing a good start for what is needed in their new homes.

2.4 Tjeneste: Surrey Domestic Abuse Outreach Advocate Post Expansion
Forsørger: East Surrey Domestic Abuse Service (ESDAS)
Stipend: £84,000
Sammendrag: To expand the role detailed in section 2.3 into the remaining two police divisions. These two DA Specialists will work alongside police teams to provide an enhanced level of support to survivors of domestic abuse, whilst supporting the professional development of officers and staff to ensure that the needs of victims are met.

2.5 Tjeneste: Expansion of IRIS
Forsørger: South West Surrey Domestic Abuse Service (Citizens Advice Waverley)
Stipend: £50,000
Sammendrag: To introduce an IRIS (Identification and Referral to Improve Safety) programme in Guildford and Waverley. IRIS is a specialist Domestic Abuse training, support and referral programme for General Practices, developed to promote and improve the healthcare response to Domestic Abuse. This is matched funding, with the remaining 50% of funding having been acquired by the provider from the Surrey Downs Clinical Commissioning Group Better Care Fund.

2.6 Tjeneste: Cuckooing Service

Stipend: £54,000
Sammendrag: To explore how specialist assertive outreach workers can work alongside Surrey Police to support victims of cuckooing. The aim is to support the Police reduce their time spent with victims, divert people away from the criminal justice system, and support victims access a broad range of services to meet their needs.

2.7 Tjeneste: Child Exploitation Service

Stipend: £90,000
Sammendrag: The new service will offer a combination of creative workshops and tailored one-to-one support from a named advisor to help individuals to address the root causes of their vulnerability. Focussing on early intervention that recognises the family, health and social factors that can lead to exploitation, the three-year project will increase the number of young people supported away from exploitation by 2025.

2.8 Tjeneste: Surrey Through the Gate Housing Scheme
Forsørger: Fremover Trust
Stipend: £30,000
Sammendrag: Bolig- og gjenbosettingstjenesten gir støtte til sårbare personer, med en historie med rusmidler, alkohol eller andre psykiske helseproblemer, som er nylig løslatt fra fengsel og som ikke har noe sted å bo. Forward Trust gir et stabilt og permanent hjem for disse personene, sammen med ekstra omsorg. Dette kan inkludere støtte til å opprettholde leieforhold, opprettholde utvinning fra avhengighet, tilgang til ytelseskrav og matbanker, forbedre livsferdigheter, fornye forhold til familier og engasjere seg i mental helse og arbeidsopplæring.

2.9 Tjeneste: Supported Housing for Young People
Forsørger: Amber Foundation
Stipend: £37,500
Sammendrag: Amber tilbyr støtte og overnatting for unge mennesker i Surrey i alderen 17 til 30 år som opplever flere ulemper. OPCC finansierer 3 av de 30 sengene ved deres anlegg i Surrey.

2.10 Service: Gatelys Surrey
Forsørger: Gatelys Storbritannia
Stipend: £28,227
Sammendrag: Streetlight UK gir spesialiststøtte til kvinner involvert i prostitusjon og alle former for seksuell vold og utnyttelse, inkludert de som blir handlet inn i sexhandelen, og gir håndgripelige og materielle veier for kvinner til å forlate prostitusjon.

2.11 Service: Catalyst High Impact (CHI) Service

Stipend: £50,000
Sammendrag: CHI-tjenesten har utviklet seg og gir en beste praksis-modell for selvsikker oppsøking for å engasjere alkoholavhengige klienter. Tjenesten støtter disse klientene til å opprettholde mellomlang til langsiktig endring og retter seg mot en konsentrert gruppe av komplekse individer som fortsatt er vanskelige å engasjere seg i tradisjonelle behandlingstjenester og som følgelig blir brukere med høy intensitet som påvirker både helse- og strafferettstjenester.
