For 2023/24 the Police and Crime Commissioner has made available £383,000 of funding to the Community Safety Fund to ensure continued support to local community, voluntary and faith organisations. The Police and Crime Commissioner also made available £275,000 for the Children and Young People’s Fund which is a dedicated resource to support activities and groups who work with children and young people across Surrey stay safe.

Leaders Unlocked – Surrey Youth Commission on Police and Crime
To award Leaders Unlocked £43,200 to continue the Surrey Youth Commission on Police and Crime. Leaders Unlocked will work with the Surrey Youth Commission to establish a sustainable and structured system for young people to influence decisions about policing and crime in Surrey. The Youth Commission will work in partnership with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner and Surrey Police to inform, support and shape the key priorities of both organisations.
