In March & April 2021 the following organisations submitted an application to the RRF for consideration;

Streetlight UK - Surrey support worker - маблағи £ 27,674 талаб карда шуд

Streetlight UK provides specialist support for women involved in prostitution and all forms of sexual violence and exploitation, including those trafficked into the sex trade, providing tangible and material pathways for women to exit prostitution.

Surrey County Council – Catalyst High Impact Service – sum requested £50,000

The CHI service has evolved and provides a best practice model of assertive outreach to engage alcohol dependant clients. The service supports these clients to sustain medium to long term change and targets a concentrated cohort of complex individuals’ who remain hard to engage with traditional treatment services and consequently become high intensity users impacting both health and criminal justice services.

Woking Borough Council – Women’s Checkpoint Plus Navigator Service – sum requested £55,605

The Checkpoint Plus service runs as part of the Women’s Support Centre Surrey (WSC). The service as a whole offers holistic, trauma informed, specialist support to the women of Surrey who suffer, or are risk of suffering from some of the following; regular contact with the criminal justice system, domestic abuse; substance misuse; homelessness and mental ill-health. The Checkpoint Plus service delivered by the Women’s Support Centre offers a gender specific response to reducing reoffending by the female cohort via offering an out of court option of addressing an offence.

Surrey Police – IOM Refresh Project – sum requested £12000

IOM is a simple, yet effective concept; Police and Probation, along with many partner agencies, targeting the offenders who are in and out of prison the most, identifying the root cause of their offending and doing some intensive joint work to resolve the issue and break the cycle of their offending.

The Forward Trust – Housing & Resettlement Support – sum requested £30000

The Housing and Resettlement Service provides support to vulnerable individuals, with a history of drug, alcohol or other mental health issues, who are newly released from prison and who have nowhere to live. The Forward Trust provide a stable and permanent home for these individuals, together with additional wrap around care. This may include support to maintain tenancies, sustain recovery from addiction, access benefit claims and food banks, improve life skills, renew relationships with families, and engage with mental health and employment training.

The Amber Foundation – Supported Housing for Young People – sum requested £37500

Amber provides wrap around support and accommodation for young people in Surrey aged 17 to 30 years who are experiencing multiple disadvantage. The OPCC funds 3 of the 30 beds at their facility in Surrey.
