Surrey Police – Engagement Vehicle and Bikes for Spelthorne

To award Surrey Police £20,000 towards the development of an engagement van which will enable easier access to the community. The funding will also allow the local team to purchase electric bikes which will enable the local PCSO to have greater mobility and visibility in the local area.

Surrey Police – Engagement Vehicle for Waverley

To award Surrey Police £10,000 towards creating a public engagement van for use in the Waverley area to provide more opportunities for the local neighbourhood team to speak to residents.

SMEF – Active Communities

To award SMEF £28,712 to continue to support their Active Communities project. The PCC has supported the project for 5 years and this funding support the project for its 6th year. The work focuses on informing the BAME communities around violence against women and girls, substance misuse and online safety.

Surrey Police – Smart Moves

To award Surrey Police £7,650 to develop the SmartMove project so the Youth Engagement Officers have a resource when working alongside children and young people.

Runnymede Neighbourhood Watch – Social Media project

To award Runnymede Neighbourhood Watch £4,000 to develop a project with Royal Surrey University to create a sustainable model for Runnymede Neighbourhood Watch by improving their reach using social media and considering how to sustain traditional watches through innovative use of social media.

The Links 2030 – Allotment Project

To award The Link 2030 £5,000 towards their allotment project. The funding will specifically to buy a new shed and greenhouse which will protect equipment and allow for sessions to run over the winter months.

Freedom Leisure – Friday Night Project

To award Freedom Leisure £3,790.67 to run their Friday Might Project. The Project allows young people to use the leisure facilities on a Friday night, supported by coaches and youth workers. The aim is to reduce local anti-social behaviour and provide a safe space for young people.

Surrey Police – proactive campaign in Guildford

To award Surrey Police £500 so the local team can purchase anti-spiking to provide to people as during local events talking about personal safety.

Surrey Police – Support for Football Team

To award Surrey Police £3,789.50 to the football team can purchase new football kits and goals. These will be used for training, matches, and will be used in the community at engagement events.

Runnymede Borough Council – Crime Prevention Events

To award £1,558.80 to Runnymede Borough Council so they can purchase personal safety items to give away at local events in the community.
