For 2022/23 the Police and Crime Commissioner has made available £275,000 for the new Children and Young People’s Fund which is a dedicated resource to support activities and groups who work with children and young people across Surrey to help them feel safe.

Tatala Ta'ita'i - Surrey Youth Commission on Police and Crime

To award Leaders Unlocked £30,720 to develop the Surrey Youth Commission on Police and Crime. Leaders Unlocked will work with the Surrey Youth Commission to establish a sustainable and structured system for young people to influence decisions about policing and crime in Surrey. The Youth Commission will work in partnership with the Police and Crime Commissioner, the OPCC and Surrey Police to inform, support and shape the key priorities of both organisations.
