The PCC David Munro joined the Camberley Street Angels on their Friday night shift at the weekend to see how they help town centre revellers enjoying a night out.
‘Making our Town Centres Safe’ is one of David’s six key priorities in his Police and Crime Plan, so he was keen to see for himself the work organisations such as the Street Angels do in town centres across the county.
The scheme is run by Christian volunteers from Churches Together in Camberley (CTC) who give up their time to offer lollipops, flip-flops, foil blankets and a smile for those enjoying the town’s nightlife. See how David got on here:
