Chidule cha nkhaniyi: This funding will support the provision of a full-time Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) during 2021/22, which specialises in supporting survivors, age 13 and above, of rape and sexual abuse who also suffer from mental illness. The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner recognises the importance of this service and has committed to provide funding to support delivery during 2021/22. This funding has been provided on the understanding that RASASC will find an alternative source of funding to sustain the post on a longer-term basis.
