Following his election as Police and Crime Commissioner in November 2012, Kevin Hurley pledged to hold Crime Summits in every Borough and District in Surrey.

Chief Executive of Runnymede Borough Council, Paul Turrell said: “This is a great opportunity for residents and community groups to raise their concerns and get involved in keeping their local community safe.

“Runnymede is a safe place to live and we want to make sure that we maintain that quality of life for all of our residents.”

Kevin Hurley said:

“I made a promise when I was elected that I would give the public more opportunities to have their say on policing and community safety where they live. These Crime Summits are bringing senior figures from the local councils and other agencies face-to-face with the public to discuss how to make our streets safer.

“I am delighted to be able to come to Runnymede to meet with the public and hear what you have to say. This is a great opportunity to talk about how we can work together to make things better in Runnymede and I warmly welcome residents to attend. I look forward to seeing you there!”
