Keeping Surrey’s children safe

Surrey children will have the opportunity to learn vital life skills thanks to a project part-funded by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey.

Junior Citizen is a programme which will reach over 1,000 Year 6 (10-11 year olds) pupils in the borough of Epsom & Ewell and the district of Mole Valley during the two weeks that the programme runs for. Children will spend two hours in a series of interactive lesson which will teach them a variety of skills, including basic first aid, online safety and fire safety. The programme is designed to challenge children and make them think for themselves, and give them the information they need to make decisions in difficult situations.

Junior Citizens runs between 7-18 March 2016 at Epsom Downs Racecourse.
