Runnymede Borough Council – Junior Citizen
To award Runnymede Borough Council £2,500 towards the purchase of the Junior Citizen Handbook which will be given to all children in year 6 to inform them of vital life skills.
Surrey Police – Kick Off @ 3
To award Surrey Police £2,650 to support the delivery of the Kick Off @ 3 programme. Surrey Police are leading in supporting a football tournament in Woking with the aim of development and supporting young people from BAME backgrounds and building relationships with the community. Kick Off @ 3 started in the Met where a PC designed the concept in order to build connections with the local BAME community. Surrey Police are working with partners including, Woking Borough Council, the charity Fearless and Chelsea FC to put on this event to support our community and build those relationships. The aim would also to provide them opportunities to engage with partners at the same time of this event.
