O Comisionado de Policía e Crime de Surrey é responsable de encargar servizos que axuden ás vítimas de delitos, melloren a seguridade da comunidade, combaten a explotación infantil e evitan a reincidencia. Operamos varias fontes de financiamento e invitamos regularmente ás organizacións a solicitar subvencións para apoiar os obxectivos anteriores.
Para o exercicio económico 2021/22, a Oficina do Comisario de Policía e Criminal utilizou unha parte do financiamento local para apoiar a prestación de servizos locais. En total, 650,000 libras adicionais foron dispoñibles para este fin, e este documento establece as asignacións deste orzamento.

resumo: When families arrive at a domestic abuse refuge they have few or no possessions, having left their homes when the opportunity to escape arises. This funding enables the refuge to provide essential items for the families when they arrive. These items can be taken with the families when they resettle, providing a good start for what is needed in their new homes.

resumo: To expand the role detailed in section 2.3 into the remaining two police divisions. 2.5 Servizo: Expansion of IRIS
Provedor: South West Surrey Domestic Abuse Service (Citizens Advice Waverley)

resumo: To introduce an IRIS (Identification and Referral to Improve Safety) programme in Guildford and Waverley. IRIS is a specialist Domestic Abuse training, support and referral programme for General Practices, developed to promote and improve the healthcare response to Domestic Abuse. This is matched funding, with the remaining 50% of funding having been acquired by the provider from the Surrey Downs Clinical Commissioning Group Better Care Fund.

2.6 Servizo: Cuckooing Service

resumo: To explore how specialist assertive outreach workers can work alongside Surrey Police to support victims of cuckooing. The aim is to support the Police reduce their time spent with victims, divert people away from the criminal justice system, and support victims access a broad range of services to meet their needs.

2.7 Servizo: Child Exploitation Service

resumo: The new service will offer a combination of creative workshops and tailored one-to-one support from a named advisor to help individuals to address the root causes of their vulnerability. Focussing on early intervention that recognises the family, health and social factors that can lead to exploitation, the three-year project will increase the number of young people supported away from exploitation by 2025.

2.8 Servizo: Surrey Through the Gate Housing Scheme

resumo: O Servizo de Vivenda e Reasentamento ofrece apoio a persoas vulnerables, con antecedentes de drogas, alcol ou outros problemas de saúde mental, que acaban de saír do cárcere e que non teñen onde vivir. O Forward Trust ofrece un fogar estable e permanente para estas persoas, xunto cunha atención adicional. Isto pode incluír apoio para manter os arrendamentos, manter a recuperación da adicción, acceder a solicitudes de beneficios e bancos de alimentos, mellorar as habilidades para a vida, renovar as relacións coas familias e participar na saúde mental e a formación laboral.

2.9 Servizo: Supported Housing for Young People

resumo: Amber ofrece apoio e aloxamento para mozos de Surrey de 17 a 30 anos que están experimentando múltiples desvantaxes. O OPCC financia 3 das 30 camas das súas instalacións en Surrey.

resumo: Streetlight UK ofrece apoio especializado ás mulleres que participan na prostitución e en todas as formas de violencia e explotación sexual, incluídas as tratadas para o comercio sexual, proporcionando vías tanxibles e materiais para que as mulleres saian da prostitución.

2.11 Service: Catalyst High Impact (CHI) Service

Grant: £50,000
resumo: O servizo CHI evolucionou e ofrece un modelo de mellor práctica de divulgación asertiva para atraer clientes dependentes do alcol. O servizo axuda a estes clientes a manter o cambio a medio e longo prazo e diríxese a unha cohorte concentrada de individuos complexos que seguen sendo difíciles de participar cos servizos de tratamento tradicionais e, en consecuencia, se converten en usuarios de alta intensidade que afectan aos servizos de saúde e de xustiza penal.
