Police & Crime Commissioner holds successful Crime Summit in Reigate & Banstead

On 22 October 2015, the Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey, in conjunction with Reigate & BansteadBorough Council, the local Surrey Police team, and other partners, held a successful Crime Summit at the Harlequin Theatre, Redhill, where members of the public were invited to have their say on local community safety matters. Almost 500 people joined us via Periscope to watch the Crime Summit online.

Key issues raised by local residents were:

  • Visible street policing
  • Anti-social behaviour
  • Cost-saving measures
  • Communication with residents
