Kevin Hurley announces February management meeting webcast

The next webcast management meeting between Surrey’s Police and Crime Commissioner Kevin Hurley and Chief Constable Lynne Owens is to take place at 2pm on 4th February 2013.

These meetings are an opportunity for the Commissioner to hold the Chief Constable to account on behalf of the public in an open and transparent way.

The agendas for these meetings and links for the webcasts are available here.

Kevin Hurley said:

“With last month’s webcast we made a small piece of democratic history here in Surrey – to my knowledge it was the first management meeting between a Police and Crime Commissioner and Chief Constable anywhere in this country to be broadcast live for the public to see.

“The feedback we have received since has been very positive and I am pleased to be able to announce that the next webcast meeting will take place from 2pm on Monday 4th February.”
