The CyberSafe Network is an online tool for local professionals and practitioners, intended to support them in protecting our communities from cyber-enabled and cyber-dependent crime.
The main aim of the project is to work in partnership to raise the profile and understanding of cyber-crime across the county, to ensure that we work together to prevent our communities becoming victims. This will involve the sharing of information, resources and knowledge between to partners to allow the development of best practice, and to make use of all the communication channels available to all involved parties, so that messages can get out to communities loud and clear.
The CyberSafe Network has now launched, and provides:
A regularly updated Resource Hub
This will give members easy access to a wide range of education material and the latest intelligence, whilst allowing them to share and rate the resources of others.
Easy access to the latest news, warning and cyber-crime prevention messages
The Network automatically collates information from trusted sources, bringing everything together in one place.
Members can subscribe to specific content and the Network will automatically email them whenever something matches their area of interest
Members can discuss projects and campaigns on the Network’s forums
Shared Network calendar
Members are able to publicise upcoming events and see those of others, ensuring better coordination of work
